Today some guy, who was the father of my kindergarten friend, died. This girl had very curly hair and had a great talent for drawing and painting, I thought she was going to be a famous painter but when I googled her, she so far hasn't achieved anything in this field. Her mom had a serious stroke some years ago too, and was in a coma for like a month.

My cousin died last year due to a medical accident following a diabetic incident.

My grandfather died a few years ago, that was REALLY difficult. He had lung cancer that had spread all over.

My great-grandmother died about 4 years before that. She was old and died in her sleep.

My cousin died a few years ago as well while being in a diabetic coma.

My friend died from anorexia when we were in grade 12.

My cousin died about 12 years ago from a massive heart attack.

My uncle died when I was around 7 of lung cancer

I think that is all I know...

One of my best friends died about four years ago, and I didn't find out about it until several months later. He was one of the only people who really understood me and my quirks.

Younger brother died in 1999 of liver disease (aged 16 months), I was very young so I wasn't really that affected by it.
Dad's dad died when I was 1, but I never met him.
Dad's brother died of cancer (bowel I think) in 2002. I didn't have much to do with him.
2 of dad's aunties died some years ago, one was breast cancer and one was sudden death.
2 of my mum's uncles, one from bowel cancer and one I'm not sure. I knew the second one very well but surprisingly my reaction to his passing was minute.
Various pets, the most notable being my cat (2003), she was put down because she was on her way out (stupid reason imo, animals die when they're ready.) It was the only death I've ever cried about.

As you get older the list gets longer, and no longer a exceptional event really. So I will only mention the ones that stand out to me for some reason.

A schoolmate friend, who fell out of a tree in the summer after 5th grade.

A cousin in some forgotten action in Vietnam

My two grandmothers who died within two weeks of each other.

A orhaned Robin I was trying to rehabilitate to the wild.

My jumpmaster trying to watch out for me when a sudden wind rose in the desert

Four pilots in formation who followed each other into the ground.

A co-worker, when a telephone pole used on a target range decided to fall.

A High School friend and then Fire Captain under the collasping south tower on 9/11

A soldier who committed suicide

A soldiers wife who committed suicide

My grandfather who passed away back in 2009, my family and I used to visit him and my grandmother (who, as of now, is still alive) a lot when we were young. Seeing my family (especially my mom) devastated over his death was heartbreaking.

One of my uncles who passed away last year, he died from lung cancer. He started smoking during his teenage years and had a hard time quitting. The sad part is, even though I knew him, my siblings and I never got a chance to really get to know him. It's a shame, my parents told me that he was a great person.

A LOT of people, mostly the older ones, let it be relatives or teachers at high school.
