I think a visor is a type of hat as it is a something you wear on your head.

Must resist looking up the definition of hat at Dictionary.com...

Resistance is futile:

hat ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ht)
n.
A covering for the head, especially one with a shaped crown and brim.

A head covering of distinctive color and shape worn as a symbol of office.
The office symbolized by the wearing of such a head covering.
A role or office symbolized by or as if by the wearing of different hats: wears two hatsone as parent and one as corporate executive.

vi·sor also vi·zor ( P ) Pronunciation Key (vzr)
n.
A piece projecting from the front of a cap or an elastic headband to shade or protect the eyes.
A fixed or movable shield against glare attached above the windshield of an automotive vehicle.
The front piece of the helmet of a suit of armor, capable of being raised and lowered and designed to protect the eyes, nose, and forehead.
A means of concealment or disguise; a mask.

There is a difference. A hat covers the head and can even have a visor. So a visor is just for shade, while a hat is for covering.

I'm not sure if it's a juice or not.

Which reminds me, is "orange drink" juice or not?

No. It has alcohol in it.

Grape Juice is a Juice.

Wine is not.

In Scotland they refer to "pop", carbonated drinks like Cola, as "juice"!

That's what i thought this thread was asking is wine "pop". I presumed it was called juice everywhere else as well. We also call it 'ginger'.

There's no "pop" or "soda" here.

Only "fizzy drinks".

Why does it matter? It's as pointless as asking if a visor is considered a hat.

Are you trying to put my religious belief that visors are hats up for debate as if it were trivial question du jour?

Im not too sure about lemonade. Lemonade is a specific drink here so shouldnt be applied to all soft drinks.

True that, but I used to call anything fizzy lemonade. Hmm... wait, actually I used to call anything fizzy 'june'!

Good question. Is wine a juice? Yes. It's a type of fermented juice... and it's wonderful.

where both a hat and a visor can be thought of as headgear/headwear, methinks a visor belongs in the eyewear category, a hat does not. and a visor doesn't cover the head, like a hat is supposed to.

and wine, my friends, is NOT juice. :P

Wine IS NOT and NEVER WILL BE a juice.

The juice of grapes is used as an ingredient in wine making and that's all.

If someone tried to give me wine juice I would throw it in their face and call them a Philistine!! !

I love wine. Don't hurt my wine.
