When a lawyer gives advice there is a legal precident making them responcible for that advice (as it is a professional opinion) I have never found a lawyer willing to do so as it opens them up to all kinds of lawsuits. This was explained to me by a lawyer friend of my mom's when I asked for advise. There are also legal hoops they have to jump through before they can do "Pro Bono" (free) work without possibly getting in trouble.

I just noticed you're in New Zeland. You would have to find a Lawyer familiar with the laws of your country. The rules I mentioned are for the US.
