Oh my gosh. I know this is gonna sound crazy but I have a phobia of something happening and me not being able to see it such as someone I know walking past my house..so I'm almost always outside! My other ones include:
~Spiders and almost all type of bugs
~Bodies of water such as lakes, oceans excluding pools!
~Offending people or making someone feel bad
~people not liking me, I always wonder if someone likes me or is just being nice!
~Not being able to see everything that is going on around me, I'm always looking around me and behind me!

Wow, I never realized how many phobias I really had....

LOL, I am the opposite, I have a fear of encountering, or being approached by someone (anyone) if I go outside.

Uhm, y'all?

I think there's a difference between just having a fear of something and having a phobia. Phobic anxiety disorders are by definition disabling. Like all mental and behavioral health disorders, the diagnosis of a phobia does not fit unless the fear causes the patient or those around the patient significant duress. A phobia would interfere with one's ability to have normal social relationships, work, and learn. A person with a phobia is crippled by that fear; they worry about encountering the fear-inducing stimulus and go to absurd lengths to avoid it. The fear is an overresponse and is irrational.

I have been told that a lot of obsessive compulsive bahavior is based on fear. Not actually defined as a phobia, but can have a major imapct on someone's life.

I'm afraid of old people.

And if I see mold on like food or something, I may gasp, or think that it's gonna get me!

Ones I have now or have had in the past (some of these are completely gone, some partially, and some are still there):

  • toilets
  • beds
  • spiders
  • not having a clear path out of a room (had a full-bore shrieking panic attack over that one a few days ago, lest anyone think I'm exaggerating)
  • vomiting and vomit in general
  • certain noises or movements (can't describe them unfortunately)
  • sewing machines
  • dead butterflies
  • partial flowers
  • certain particular steps
  • red giants
  • anything wider than a thin bracelet around my wrist or ankle
  • the sky
  • drive-by shootings (in areas where they didn't even happen, to the point where I couldn't go outside -- a normal level of fear would be rational, but this wasn't)
  • sleeping with my head pointed southeast or southwest

There's probably a much longer list, but I've had a lot of phobias in my lifetime.

Needles. My mom wouldnt tell me i was getting shots, then 2 nurses would sit on me and play pincusion.

Since then I've been terrified of needles.

I have a lesser fear of public toilets, i can manage it, but its still very unplesant,
