Which Company is Best?

I'm personally mainly a Nintendo Fanboy. They have many great game series, their gameplay is second-to-none, and they have some of the greatest minds on their side (Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo.)

I'm not a gamer, and i almost never play video games, but I've seen enough to know that nintendo rock. I mean, where would modern civilzation be without the N64?

Hmmm. I can't answer that one. Nintendo definitely has a higher quantity of popular franchises going, but of them only Zelda really interests me, and imho that series peaked on the N64 and to a lesser extent on the Nintendo handhelds.

On the other hand, I can't think of many titles developed by Sony. I know that ICO and Shadow of the Colossus were both developed by Sony, and together they were two of the most fantastic games I played on my PS2. And unlike Zelda, there aren't a hundred clones of those games. Overall I'm on the fence.

I'm voting for Nintendo. My first console was a Game Boy Color and many of my favourite games are Nintendo games. And two of their biggest games are out in the UK this month (Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda: Phantom Phourglass)

i like both for different reasons. especially since nintendo started doing their own thing and pulling back from the attrition between microsoft and sony, i feel i cant really compare those two.

id say that each of them is ranked higher than microsoft in my book, but thats about it.
mario/zelda/metroid sure is great, but ridge racer/metal gear solid/resident evil is just as great.

To me, Sony is filed more under the "evil multinational mega-corporation" category than "game developer company" category. That being said, PS2 is the definitely the best system ever made in terms of variety of games, controller, affordability, and most importantly - RPG selection! I voted Nintendo.

I like Atari, Firaxis, and Stardock better.

I prefer Sony. I've had a lot of good times with the SNES, NES and Gameboy, but lately, Nintendo has just been milking and recycling old franchises. I didn't own a PS2 until recently, but I definetely don't regret buying it.

Huh...That's weird. I had put Microsoft as an option, but it didn't show. Oh well. It's not like anyone was supporting them so far anyways.

Neither. Capcom is better than Nintendo and Sony.

That doesn't matter to me because they are my favourite franchises. And they have been creating new franchises, even though they might not be aimed at gamers. I don't mind playstations though, but the PS3 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too expensive.

Regardless of what system you like, I can't understand why anyone would vote for Sony as a better COMPANY. They s**t on their fans, whereas Nintendo loves and listens to their fans. (This from someone who isn't interested in a single Wii game.)

Sony Playstation is probably the greatest invention since the nuclear fission reactor.

That's a difficult question. Sony and Nintendo are both great in different ways, but I chose Sony because PS2 has a lot of good RPG's
