I don't understand what "did mine is" means.

But to answer your title question:
The Fragile Army by The Polyphonic Spree. It's OK, but a little too standard rock-oriented for my preference, compared to their previous works.

As for CD players, I don't use any. I use the CD drive in my computer to import the CD tracks, then convert them to ogg vorbis for my daily usage.

ah we got someone with taste :D Meds was definitely a good album though. Sad to see Steve Hewitt leave the band :(

Just what I was about to say myself :)

My most recent purchases:
Eat Me, Drink Me - Marilyn Manson
All About Eve - eponymous debut album
Origins of Symmetry - Muse
In Rainbows - Radiohead

I just got Archetype by Fear Factory. Been looking for it for over a year and I finally found it used for 7 duckets! Its really good, way better than I thought it would be.

Don't remember... but I decided today that I will not be buying any more CDs. They are a horrific waste of money.

It has been quite a while since I bought any CDs. I believe I bought some Beatles CDs back in the 1980s.

ah we got someone with taste :D Placebo fan myself for 7 years and counting. The band considers Meds to be their best album so far. What do you think of it? IMO they still never did anything as good as Without You I'm Nothing but that album was so good it is almost impossible to peek above that level. Meds was definitely a good album though. Sad to see Steve Hewitt leave the band :(

yeah, the only Placebo song i had heard when i bought that was "Pure morning" and i loved it. then i realised it's not even on that album, but became addicted to it

Silver Apples - late 60's electronic music made on oscillators. Very unusual
Stereolab - Serene Velocity (best of)
Skip James - Today!
13th Floor Elevators - Going Up (best of) - Fantastic! Highly recommended for fans of 60's garage/pshychedelic music.

haven't bought a cd in.....no idea how long, last one was Derrick Carters' Sessions cd,bought on release date, Derrick ruined it by using way too much of one acapella across the whole of the first [and best] cd of the compilation.
got radioheads in rainbows album when it was released recently but in download form, not cd.
