Kinda like how the first time I'll hear a piece of music or see a movie it'll really blow me away, and then a few listens/views later just seem boring? Or conversely, the first time I saw the twist in 'Fight Club' I just thought it was kinda weird, but on the 2nd & 3rd viewings I got really big chills up my spine

[*] Feels bodily sensations with no identifiable cause
YES!! !!

[*] Sees things that aren't there
Not Really

[*] Nebulous feelings of being watched or persecuted
At times...

[*] Cognitive disorganization
???

  • Tangentiality in conversation
  • Racing thoughts
  • Difficulty finding words
  • Invents new words or uses words with nonstandard meanings
  • Loses train of thought

Yes, yes, yes.....

[*] Introverted anhedonia
  • Little pleasure in life
  • Lack of emotional expression
  • Afraid of unfamiliar situations
  • Anxious

Off and on, for all of those

[*] Impulsive nonconformity
  • Bizarre emotional response
I've had some people treat me as though I was having a bizarre emotional reaction. It always seems perfectly sensible to me.
  • Behavior that is detrimental to self or others without forethought
Hell, most NTs act like this  At times, when trying to fit in with certain NTs I might get carried away (go from barely speaking to yelling when I got excited in a poker game, we were trying not to disturb the neighbors), but I wouldn't really say that I exhibit this behavior
  • Ignores social convention
Most social conventions (of people my age, which is college-age) weren't designed for people like me. Around certain groups if I'm feeling out-of-place, persecuted, looked down upon, etc etc I will sometimes do or say something seemingly random, to either demonstrate my freedom from some invisible world-view or set of values I have no connection to, or just to f**k with people's heads if I really don't like em. I'm trying to think of a specific instance, but none are really coming to mind

And the winning streak continues!! !! !! ! Though the dependant thing is inaccurate because it's assuming I'm not in college and a full-time student, a time when it's kind of undertsandable to be dependent on a parental support system. When I get out of grad school I will be self-supporting, I hope. (Five more years, if all goes well! Five more years!! !! Woohoo!! !! !)

At least you are both in good company. :) Oh, and Serissa, your scores look sane compared to mine. :P

Eysenck's Test Results

Extraversion(47%) medium which suggests you are moderately talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting.
Neuroticism (80%) high which suggests you are very worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious.
Psychoticism (28%) low which suggests you are overly kind natured, trusting, and helpful at the expense too often of your own individual development (martyr complex).

The scores seem a bit off, especially my high score in Schizoid. It seems to think I'm indifferent to people; I'm really just nervous.

Edit: Look at me. Blaming an internet test for not figuring out what my own family doesn't get.

I don't know what the URL for the test is because the 1st page won't load, so I googled the name (someone said it). The test I took was at similarminds.com, I hope it's the right one.

I should mention that I'm dx'd OCD. Does it affect the answers if I put at the beginning of the test that I've been dx'd OCD. I couldn't get the little bars to line up in a straight line, so their gone now. Like I said, OCD.

I think this should be mentioned, if for no other reason than it's kind of interesting:

Just for everyone's information: Obsessive-Compulsive Personality disorder is NOT the same as OCD. It's entirely seperate and you can very much have one without the other. I have a friend who has NO OCD symptoms but I very stongly think has obsessive-compulsive personlaity disorder. ((She is absolutely fanatical about doing well in school and totally paranoid about it, and some other stuff too. I'm not going to list all the symptoms of the disorder or her symptoms but she fits the bill perfectly. She by the way thinks I have body dysmorphia so she Dx's me too. ))
