The only way I can whistle is inhaling.

Exactly. Can't whistle other than make that wavery (barely audible sound) sort of noise upon inhaling with pursed lips-doesn't work for me at all trying to exhale & whistle. In school it seemed I was only one who couldn't, which was a bummer when instructed to do so in music class. I'm 34 now & don't mind so much that I can't whistle, since it hurts my ears & whenever my boyfriend does it I give him a pained look.

Finger-snapping was result of hours of practice alone (at which I finally succeeded)-my peers in school had no problem doing that & I was again "the only one" unable. Now that I've got fingernails that extend beyond my fingertips (used to bite my nails constantly), it's more difficult.

Nostril-flaring, ear-wiggling, and raising one eyebrow at a time are easy for me (though not simultaneously). My mother could do the eyebrow thing & her mother could do the ears thing, so I figure that's genetic. My father could whistle, not sure whether my mother could.

I used to be able to whistle and make all kinds of strange and fun noises with my mouth when I was a kid. After I got braces and my teeth got all straight though I lost all such abilities.

I can't whistle or snap either. I remember when I was little those were two things I really wanted to learn how to do, and I tried, but never could.

Right now, its something I hadn't thought about for over ten years.

I can whistle, but I can't control it (ie, I can't do notes or anything like that). It took me a long time to learn, and I'm not very reliable with exhaling (I can sometimes, but sometimes not), whereas I almost always can do it on the first try with inhaling.

I can snap with my right hand but not with my left.

There was a point where I was trying hard to whistle, and I almost got it down, but I never did.

Whistling?... no

Finger snapping?... no

Making a vulcan hand sign?... heck yes.
