So, what games did you hate when you were a kid?

I hated Red Rover because it hurt my arms, and I hated playing any kind of imaginary game with other people (for example, if we played Pokemon the other person would always make their Pokemon stronger than mine).

The game I hated the most was dodgeball, because I don't like being hit with things.

How about you?

That is funny - when I read this post and was waiting for the text to come up I thought Red Rover was terrible! I was also not a fan of duck-duck-goose because I would get dizzy chasing the kids in circles and I have terrible coordination so it would take me a while to get up anyway . . .

Dodgeball, I usually just stood in the back and tried to avoid being hit. I always lasted awhile but I wasn't very valuble as a player.

I hated playing musical chairs...with other kids always pushing and shoving you out of the way!

kiss catch, on the rare occasions I was actually chased and caught they would 'kindly let me go without the kiss' .. very demoralising.

British Bulldogs was fun.

I've always hated Tag, because I was a slow runner, and I would end up being "It", twenty times before the game was over.

What is Red Rover? I never played it.

I also hated tag. And hide-and-seek, but only if I was the person trying to find people. I never could, but I always got the best hiding spots.

Anything involving picking teams (classic- I was always picked Last. My only friend was the girl who was always picked Second Last). The teams always came out essentially the same, yet there was always this interminable choosing process. The kickball (or whatever) game was only slightly less bad.
So, I guess I have to say The Choosing Game was the worst!

I loved dodge ball, i only hated it when they used the soft balls though that was lame, the harder balls it was fun to aim for people heads.

One game I couldn't stand playing was with action figures I hated it when on my birthday I was expecting to get something awesome like video games and I got a f*****g power ranger action figure or something, what hell am i supposed to do with action figures? I hate those things.

Duck Duck Goose,
I never understood why the goose was always picked on.

The Team Choosing Game and dodgeball. I hated team sports more than anything. That's why I got into sports which don't involve communication, such as cycling, skating, swimming, and running.

Overlooking the team aspect, volleyball was/is still the most problematic for me - Serving the ball is the most jarring feeling that no one but me seems to experience.

I hated cow dodgeball, which we had to play in gym class a few times in elementary school. I also hated pitching and batting and catching baseballs... I was awful at it.

I liked tag, duck-duck-goose, red rover and hide-and-seek. HAHAHA!
