At Coles. Only 3 shifts.
The people there would talk to me, but it felt like we spoke two different languages. All their talk of children and social lives and such things had nothing to do with me. I felt lost. I could console myself by thinking that if they came into most discussions in my uni lectures, they'd be just as lost, but they would still be able to participate in the social side of things. They would be able to have some sort of a conversation with someone.
I feel somewhat inadequate because of this.
