Anyone else do this? Just write without thinking, letting your hand write whatever it writes. Most of what you come up with is gibberish, but every now and then you'll get something interesting.

Last night I came up with this sentence, which seems to be syntactically and maybe even logically correct, but I still can't figure out exactly what it's supposed to mean: "Whereunto all things it is ultimate, the creed of royalty is dead to blame." Any ideas? (probably just horsesh*t, but still...)

Hm, I've never tried that before. I always feel like I have to write logically.

I have no idea what your sentence means, but it sounds very philosophical.

Prideful people do not feel guilt for the wrong they've done.
This is what I think it means, if it means anything at all.
I do not do automatic writing. I do not approve of it. It is an insanity, by what I believe.

I find it very useful for getting the spontaneity of communication and dialogue.

I've tried it a few times, but I found that what I had created far exceeded the typical harebrained babble of my usual musings. Simply put, it was incomprehensible rubbish.

I've tried. Didn't work. I either produced scribbles, or my mind wouldn't stop thinking about what I was writing. I don't think I'm really capable of "automatic" or "spontaneous" (apart from reflex actions); everything I do is pre-planned.

Yeah, sometimes. Can't post anything because everything is in swedish. It's kind of a meditation.

"Things that are not, has not been, becomes then - after that - maybe, umbrellas that have gone away without any sight for another day. Over."

Translated from swedish.

"Det som inte är, har var varit, blir sen, då, kanske, bortresta paraplyer utan sikte för en annan dag. Över." (in swedish)

Homosexuality, the life of the stars coming at a rate of near or far. I am the only one who will ever know, the torment of the soul.

Yeah, sounds like me . . . .

Writing, to me, is like talking, to most people, and vice versa. That's why I sometimes blurt out things I later regret online - less of a filter when writing than when talking.
