i voted for blink, but the final 3 was a very close second & shakespeare code a very close third.

Yes. Sydney Newman wanted to alternate between historical and scientific stories. And no "BEMs". But, well, there you go.

Apparantly, only one episode was made in the original format. Then they introduced the Daleks and it all changed.

'the gunfighters' was a lot of fun, although i havent seen many stories from the 3rd series.

I think series 3 has amazing stories. I was very sceptical at first, because I really liked Rose and hated the idea of someone replacing her. But of course, Martha didn't and they didn't just forget about Rose. I even came to like Martha ;)

I didn't like the last 2 episodes though. The whole story was just a bit far off and unlogical.

My favourites: Smith & Jones and Blink.
