Hello everyone reading this!

As you can see, my forumname is Charisleia, but you can call me Kia if you like (it's easier to write :wink: ).
I'm an 18 year old English student from the Netherlands and I really don't know what to say about myself...

I'm weird, that much is for sure ^^
I used to go to a psychologist, but I don't have to anymore, which is sort of a relief =)
During the sessions with my psychologist, she told me I have a social fear, which comes from a lot of things I went through. Because of this I am extremely sensitive to emotions other people feel. Sometimes it's cool, because I can help people with it. Other times it sucks, because I feel other peoples feelings as my own, and when people feel down or depressed, I'm really sorry, but I don't feel like feeling that for them...
Also, lately I've been told that tere's a (big) possibility that I've ADD, but I sorta already thought that, I just didn't know there was a name for it....
I have really knacky bones and joints, and that's rotten, because I can't do everything I'd like to do (like running, or jumping, or pretty much any sport), that's why I like to enjoy everything I CAN do =)

I always like to chat with people, though when I'm grumpy, some people wish not to talk to me ^^
I was introduced to this forum by hey_you, and I know his girlfriend GetDownOnIt as well....

euhm.... if you want to know something more about me, just ask =) Maybe I'll edit this a bit later on, or something ^^

Hey Kia! Just curious; how is Kia short for Charlisleia?

You don't need to be depressed for others; just focus a lot of happiness on them and they'll probably feel better!

I get that emotional symmetry with others as well, and for me it can help because I know what they're feeling.

I'm Dutch too, although I live in New Zealand (born here too, my parents moved during the Cold War) and am 17 years old, although I feel 15.

Kia is not short for Charisleia ^^ Kia is short for Saskia, but I don't like it when people call me Sas, so someone started calling me Kia, and it sorta infected other people to call me Kia ^^

New Zealand, awesome! Someday, ehen I have enough money, I'm going to make a world journey, and I'm going to stop in many places in the US, and in Australia and New Zealand and Afrika and Asia and... well... make a world tour ^^
And Canada is good! I have family living there... maybe we're related? =p

And yes, I try to focus on happy feelings when people are down or depressed =) And I hope those people will feel better if I do, but I also hope they will not surpress their true feelings, because that is bad... At a certain point they'll burst, and we don't want that... It's painful, and just.. no fun....
