I hope your week gets better Cernunnos!

I had a fairly good meeting with my boss, so my mood's lightened a bit :)

Do you have a vacation coming up to look forward to at least?

Yes, I'm quite lucky working for a university - they make us take off all the days between Christmas and New Year, and give it to us on top of our Annual Leave allowance. So I guess it isn't too bad working here

I'd stress too much about the work building up whilst I was away - I even spend my normal holidays stressing about what's happening whilst I'm away

I find a at least a 2 week break is best. It seems to take the first week to "de-stress" and stop thinking about work.

If everyone lived forever, then 100% of all deaths would be attributed to either murder or suicide.

Like my doctor once told me when I was considering a nasty treatment for a condition I have

"it's not just how long you live it's the quality of life."

Makes sense to me.
