Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?


What is His name?

The problem can be settled when we discover what language God speaks. I'm sure He's aware of our discussion so I expect a post from Him clearing this up any minute now. Hold your breath.

It's the only option that makes sense to me. If you claim you are in direct communication with God and you're not insane then you are pulling a scam.

If you are relying on a very dubious historical authority then I find you totally unconvincing. This is my own personal viewpoint and I am not attacking you personally. I merely find your sources insufficient.

My sources include the Hebrew Tanakh and Origins: a short etymological dictionary of modern English by Eric Partridge respectively for God's name and the name of His Son.

Other options that I've heard of include Allah and Elvis.

You've misinterpreted my posts. I said that if you claimed to have direct knowledge then you were scamming or nuts. If you claim only derived knowledge I can understand your point of view but do not find it valid. The assassination of Kennedy still has many unanswered questions and that happened with living witnesses and camera evidence. To accept testimony thousands of years old that has been passed from person to person before it was recorded by people who most likely misinterpreted what they heard is to be totally gullible. Your information has nil possibilities of validity.

Also, wouldn't it have been something along the lines of Yeshua ben Joseph, to indicate himself to be the son of Joseph?
