I have met up with people, who have asperger's, twice now. And its much easier to talk to them than NT'S, I couldn't see myself just talking to nt's I don't know, had we just went for a meet up. At school I was ok, but then at college, I barely spoke to anyone for 3 years, and when i've joined sports clubs, its taken me months sometimes to get to know people there.

Yeah, I don't think Aspies do have a genral inability to develop social skills, I just think we have different social skils to NT's.

It's tough for us to learn their social skills and it's just as tough for them to learn ours. Difference is, we have to try to learn theirs and they don't have to learn that we even exist. The joys of majority rule.
