Blue Man Group - Up to the Roof
Dave Matthews Band - So Much to Say
Boa - Deeply
John Mayer - Bigger Than My Body
Our Lady Peace - Clumsy
Dream Theater - Another Day
Portishead - It Could Be Sweet
311- You Wouldn't Believe
Queens of the Stone Age - The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret
The Velvet Teen - Naked Girl

That's actually a pretty decent cross-section of what I like, except that no video game or foreign music came up, and I listen to quite a bit of that.

Hell, I'll do the next ten.

John Mayer - Wheel
Do As Infinity - Tooku Made
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles OCRemix
Rellik - Beneath the Surface (Chrono Trigger remix)
Filter - Take a Picture
Blue Man Group - White Rabbit
Ailsean - Terra in Black (Final Fantasy VI OCRemix) link
Maaya Sakamoto - Kiseki no Umi
Ayumi Hamasaki - Surreal
Elliott Smith - Waltz #2 (XO)

They Might Be Giants - Memo To Human Resources

Drums & Tuba - The Butcher
The Beatles - Yer Blues
They Might Be Giants -She's An Angel
Weird Al - Taco Grande
Weather Report - Birdland
Lumen - VIII
Weird Al - Achy Breaky Song

Final Fantasy VI - Spinach Rag
Sparks - What Are All These Bands So Angry About?
Drums & Tuba - If I Die

Don't know how many that is... but about right. TMBG dominates, with all the other eclectic music I've acquired over the years...

Why are ipods synonymous with portable music players? They're not the be all and end all.

I put my iriver on shuffle and this is the first 20 that came up:

1. Jem - Maybe I'm Amazed
2. Jen Cloher - Rain
3. Lamb - I Cry
4. Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy
5. Portishead - All Mine
6. Regina Spektor - Poor Little Rich Boy
7. Carla Bruni - La Noyée
8. Yann Tiersen - A Quai
9. Air - Cherry Blossom Girl
10. The Audreys - Where Are You Now?
11. Kasey Chambers - Better Be Home Soon
12. Artful Dodger - I Can't Give It Up
13. Katie Noonan - A Little Smile
14. Holly Throsby - By This River
15. Emiliana Torrini - Honeymoon Child
16. Sarah Blasko - The Garden's End
17. Bob Evans - Nowhere Without You
18. Lisa Miller - Motherless
19. Air - Ce Matin La
20. Clare Bowditch & The Feeding Set - Which Way To Go

That's pretty much a good representation of my tastes. There's some video game music and some mainstream pop on my iriver as well that didn't come up.
