Lyrics for a song I'm currently writing

It's not complete...
If you comment, please be nice. :P But if you do give your opinion, tell the truth... please! :D

I don't know about a title yet... I've written a verse and a chorus: -

Verse 1
You are the fire and you ignite my very soul I'm burning
Your flames engulf me like a spider catching prey I'm learning
You are the ice your touch so deadly so lethal I'm frozen
Your motives are so cold and so sadistic I'm beat I'm broken

Chorus
Am I the alpha... or the omega?
You've stricken me so hard I dare not let you go
And I rejoice... in sweet surrender
You show me everything I ever wish to know

The song has a subtle meaning... it's not about what you think it might be but I guess one could relate to it in that way. ;) lol

You written music for this, or is it just words so far? Because if you need to write music, one piece of advice I can give is to just use the first verse twice while you're writing the music, to play it through and see where it takes you.

as a musician, i suggest writing the music FIRST, then lyrics

Tis what I normally do... but I guess everyone's different...
