Here are some computer games, websites, and programs I recommend. I also came up with a key to help. Here's the key:

 - recommended website
 - recommended CD-rom game/program
:? - recommended downloadable game/program

Here's my list:

 - The Incredible Machine. It's a computer program where you solve puzzles using an assortment of parts from basketballs to anti-gravity pads. You can also make your own puzzles and play head-to-head with a friend.

:? - Feeding Frenzy. It's a GameHouse game where you swim around and eat fish smaller than your player (and avoid bigger fish, mutant fish, and mines). A 60-minute free trial's available on Yahoo! Games. Afterwards, you can choose whether you want to buy the full version for $19.99 (or somewhere around there) or not.

 - The Unofficial Addams Family Web Site. It's a website that's all about the Addams Family, and that means the '60's TV show, the Hanna-Barbara cartoons, the movies, and pretty much everything Addams.

 - SimTunes. It's a computer program where you make music and art-- at the same time! Paint colored dots on the screen. Then, place Bugz (walking instuments that play music when they run over dots). When you're completely satisfied, save. Make music!

 - Google. It's a search engine that searches over 4 billion web pages all over the World Wide Web! You can search for anything!

That's all I recommend for now.

Check out :

 http://www.wikipedia.org/

It's a sort of "public domain" encyclopedia. It's content is contributed, and maintained, by the users. (Check out the "random page" link on the left, if you can't think of anything to look up.)

www.nationstates.net

create your own nation with your own political ideals. you can choose to join the UN and vote on resolutions. how far you want to take the role-play is up to you. kind of fun... :)
