From Aussie Christmas with Bucko & Champs (Greg Champion and Colin Buchanan):

Santa Claus Has Got a New Truck
(to the tune of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town")

... He's hotted it up
Painted it red
And he's cruising round town
Like a petrol head
Santa Claus has got a new truck

His hands are getting shaky
His eyesight's up the creek
I saw him knock a reindeer over
Just the other week

It's all covered in lights
Presents in the back
But he got his license
In a Weetbix pack
Santa Claus has got a new truck ...

Good Old Wally King
(to the tune of "Good King Wenceslas")

Good old Wally King looked out
On his crop of barley
Bless my soul and blow me down
That looks to me like Charlie
Haven't seen him round these parts
For many a long year
Reckon I might offer him
A glass of Christmas cheer

Agnes put the kettle on
Quick as you are able
Let us make another place
For him at the table
He looks a little worse for wear
His clothes are old and baggy
It's a long and weary road
For an honest swaggie

Mates they'd been in years before
Now the two were older
And so he welcomed Charlie in
Hand upon his shoulder
Gladly those three feasted there
And in the warmth of sharing
The Christmas season brought again
A time of peace and caring

My favourite carol is easily 'Te Harinui', a New Zealand Christmas Carol (translates as 'the great day', you pronounce it 'teh hah-ree-noo-ee, and roll the 'r').

It's the most beautiful one in the world, really really pretty melody and lovely lyrics.

You can hear it here, although the music is much, much slower than you'd normally sing it... it'd usually be almost sung allegro. Anyway, the melody and lyrics are there.

Any Christmas song, as long as The Chipmunks are the ones doing the singing!

I love "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)" as well! Also Tran-Siberian Orchestra's version of "Carol of the Bells". My favourite to sing is "O Come All Ye Faithful", in my awful but impressively high soprano :D
