I'm not sure what the song is, but it's got "Gloria, the Angels are all singing" in it.

I love it because I am the world's worst singer, and I love to sing along to the

Glooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooria

Result: everyone in the family with their hands over their ears.

Mmm... the chorus is somewhat actually, not sure on the rest though. That piece I posted is pretty rubbish, you need to hear it to get the full beauty of the song!! :D

Christmas Shoes. Think it's by Newsong.

If you've heard it and think it's sad... This video makes it sadder.

I have this thing about sad music.

Ok, this is probably my favourite Christmas song ever, from a band I love infinitely. Just so, so, so pretty.

Mew - She Came Home For Christmas

The danish band Tiger Baby's song "Abutere" is a really beautiful contemporary Christmas song. It isn't cheesy or annoying or typical Christmas fayre in any way; just a really beautiful, pretty little indie tune about Christmas without the one you love.

It's Christmas
We're gathered round the Christmas tree
It's Christmas
You're the one I want to be with
The snow is falling on the trees
The Christmas songs start clear
As long as you are far away
The jingle bells don't ring...

I never knew that it would be this hard holding on to you
I never knew that it would be this cold without you...

My favorite is the one I wrote.. perhaps you've heard the ripped-off version of it... Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer?

It's actually... Rudolph the RED BUTT Reindeer!
I wrote it when I was just a little kid!
Thank you! Thank you very much!

Rudolph the red-butt reindeer,
had a very shiny butt.
And if you ever heard it,
you would hear it go PUTT-PUTT!

All of the other reindeer,
used to laugh and call him names.
They didn't let poor Rudolph,
play in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say...
"Rudolph with your butt so bright,
won't you be my... tail light!"

Then all the reindeer loved him.
And they shouted out with glee.
"Rudolph the red-butt reindeer,
you'll go down in history!"

My daughter fell in love a couple of years ago with .... SANTA IS A PSYCHO!
weird... that's all I can say

LINK--->THE ALBUM IT CAME FROM

Here's the words...

Santa is a Psycho

Remember when they took you to see Santa at the mall?
They'd take your picture in his lap, although you cried and bawled
Something strange about that guy, it made your skin just crawl
Turns out you were right about the old man after all

Cause... Santa is a psycho, you knew it all the time
You'd seen him on a wanted poster for some heinous crime
Mom would reassure you, but that just made things worse
When you noticed that his sleigh had been converted to a hearse

Why does he live all the way up there at the North Pole?
He's running from the law for violating his parole
Voices in his head say "on Xmas you must share"
So perhaps you'll get a finger bone or a lock of hair

Yes Santa is a psycho, you knew it all along
That swastika tattoo tipped you off something was wrong
Mom never got close enough to smell his whiskey breath
Or notice that his gloves and boots were made from human flesh

He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake
So don't go out alone on Christmas Eve, for God's sake

Santa is a psycho, his train has left the station
Lock up all the guns, cause he's off his medication
Forget about the kiddie car or that electric train, dear
But here's a book about him called Silence of the Reindeer

He got past the razor wire at the state hospital
You'd think with all those guards that would not be possible
They found them in a ghastly scene all with a lifeless stare
Their bodies were all hung by the chimney with care

Cause Santa is a psycho, just as you suspected
But here's what you can do to keep your family protected,
Have the cops round up all the Santas in your town
And just to be safe, all the scoutmasters and clowns

So... did I teach her this warped idea of Christmas... or is it genetic? :eew: :alien:
