When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Money.

Since a Mac mini is out of range, but my parents are considering it for my birthday. If I get enough, I might buy a few program licenses (to be specific, Synthedit and possibly Renoise), some boxed programs (MAYBE Max [since Max/MSP is beyond unreasonable], or possibly Cubase SE3), some anime boxsets (I'll look at the Best Buy anime aisle), or some hardware (some sort of MIDI controller namely [I'm a musician, but not a good one yet]); it'll be some combination of a few of them.

I do hope that I can get the Mac mini for my birthday, though. Or any sort of Mac. After all, all I need is a Mac that is powerful enough to have slight multitasking.
