The store was very confusing.

A busy day today.

There's a Sweet Pea at my door.

Campus again today.

My aunts were joking about trying to find me a boyfriend last night. Whenever people joke about that I get anxiety because I'm trans. When people joke about setting me up with cis men it scares me because they would most likely attempt to set me up with straight dudes. Some straight cis guys can get really aggressive when they find out someone isn't cis/het.

Chinese refer to the Russian (or East Slavic) as Maozi in slang. It means "fluffy".

It was originally a disparaging term for the Russian aggressors by the Chinese in the northeast. But then it became neutral.

When it is used to address East Slavs, Russians are called the "eldest Maozi", Ukrainians are called the "second Maozi", and Belarusians are called the "third Maozi".


"Ethnic Russia" is one of the 56 legal ethnic groups of PRC.
But they are actually a collection of white Russian speakers who have lived in China for some reason for generations instead of really all Russian. Many of them are Ukrainians, and some are not even Slavs.

I just heard a discussion on NPR in which one study showed that having several long distance (as opposed to local) facebook friends is correlated with longer lifespan. This was part of a much larger project looking at lifespan disparities between races as a function of different variables.

I wondered if this might give credence to the value of the virtual friendships arising from autism (or other) fora like WP. As in, perhaps these exchanges have actual IRL benefits.

I'm comfortable living life as a fat, autistic German because that's all that I know.

I get along well w/ my cousins that have autism/autistic traits, but the few babies and toddlers make me want to not have kids. lmao

I don't mind them, but some of them just don't respond to their name or anything, so they do dangerous things and often wont stop unless you physically stop them. It stresses me out a bit. They're also sometimes really loud and make noises that hurt my ears.

I am letting go of this job.
