IMO, Portland will never be a good host city for a Summer Olympics because of how awful certain areas are alongside three problems that still plague Portland; homelessness, gun violence, and terrible city leadership.

I'm sorry this is reality. That's f****d up. If I knew the right things to say, I'd say them now. I can only understand as much as I'm able to, but I do appreciate wanting to be away from a place that causes upset, distress, pain, trauma...especially a place that is supposed to be supportive and maybe even informational, entertaining, and bond building. On a selfish level though, should you choose to stay gone, I'll miss seeing your posts.

The person I was friends with at work talked to me quite a bit today and offered to play DbD with me, and I don't know if I should keep reciprocating and accept their offer because I'll 100% get my hopes up that they legit want to interact with me, but since this is sudden I think they might just either be bored or pitying me because I was out of work due to my mental health problems.
