I'd still prefer a table that matches the height where I sit, to put my arms and stuff on with my legs underneath...

That's what they said last time! 30th, 15th...

Sigh...

I'm just gonna watch some social fireworks.

That will be good. I hope it helps you not have seizures.

However, I have to figure out a plan to stop my mom from expressing any potential objections she could have.

In an apartment, I might have to deal with noisy neighbors, but at least I’d be spared the noise of the constant mowing, edging, etc. throughout all of spring, most of summer (except the days when it’s too hot to safely do any of that), and a good bit of fall (except add leaf blowers there). And winter isn’t free of it, either, there are people here with snowblowers who like to use them. It’s not even limited to mostly just the weekends with quarantine stuff still in effect, now it’s every single day.

I understand your frustration (if that is what's being expressed here, which I'm assuming) - I have been able to be a little more serious this past year about buying a house/moving into an apartment and all I really want is to move somewhere remote in the countryside - but even that can have it's issues. I've heard stories of people who live in the country side frequently going outside to shoot guns for fun (not scary as in I'd be at risk, just loud, intermittent, unpredictable noise, which is one of my worst sensory problems). I live in a neighborhood currently (with my parents) where this time of year means people around us do their own home fireworks shows at night and it's caused me to have more than one meltdown.

I hate summertime for the reason that so many people are home and want to be outside making noise - I know it's what people do but I don't want to have to be around it.

When one doesn't know the difference between a monkey viewed upside down, from a monkey standing on his head...

Do I sit out and aptiebtly wait and guide for them to comprehend, give them explicit terms and explain that may either further confuse or help them, or mock them by ditching them in the dark? :|
A more dubious mind would just make them believe one is only right and another knowing it is a sin.
