Here I am at work.. I think I have a big problem which is stopping me from ever wanting a career.. my problem is lack of executive function.
I have problems dealing with NTs socially but this pales in comparison to the fact that I have difficulty with tasks because my mind has a way of getting confused and forgetting stuff if distracted.
Also I find it hard to do mundane tasks because they make me want to "escape" and then I start surfing the net or something.."
Im just not made for tasks and I cant focus and worse, I dont want to.
Can anyone think of careers for forgetful, innefficient people who also dont have amazing social skills? Just about everything I can think of requires one or the other.
Does anyone else find that executive function interferes with their work?
