I like all animals, but cats are my favorites.

hey... wheres the option for neither...

i dont like having any animals around since they just generate more noise... especially dogs... loud and very sudden and very short blast... autisitics nightmare... and yet my parents continue to have a dog... however after this one they promised they will cease and desist since it will be too hard to accommodate someone with a progressive neurological disease (me) in the house on top of the dog...

only problem is what are we going to do now... 400 pound wheelchair... dog better GTFOTW get the f**k out of the way otherwise SQUISH!

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Cats. You can leave them home for a few days. Just give them a lot of food and water and leave. You dont have to play with them and pet them all the time. And they kill mice if you live in an old home. They can be more ferocious than a dog and eat less and at largest are the size of a jack russel. I have a jack russel too and he requires constant attention. He still is pretty cool and wards off intruders. small dogs barking work well because they dont hurt them but alert you. It was close.

I've never had a cat, so by default, my vote goes to the dogs.

Dogs. Definitely dogs. I don't know where I'd be without my three. I don't like cats, and anyway, I'm allergic to them.

Personally, I prefer bison (buffalo)! They are quite noble creatures. As can be guessed from my avatar, I love frogs as well.

I am personally a dog man myself, but then again I grew up with dogs. As for cats, I don't really dislike them either. Like my father I am highly allergic to cats, so having a cat would not be practical.
