I thought it was a pretty good film, not great, just good. There are quite a few amusing bits. You have to be a fan of the Simpsons to enjoy it, though.

I am probably the biggest Simpsons fan on here.

It's really only twice the size of a normal episode though.

I'm pretty sure it was more than 44 minutes long.

oh..i just saw it..I was kinda disappointed....There are several regular Simpsons episodes that I like better than the movie. Some of the jokes seemed forced....Like they were really under pressure to be funny for the big movie....I was disgruntled by the plot....granted...I love the Simpsons...and I did laugh a few times...perhaps it has to do with the fact that I have access to 7 hours of Simpsons episodes a week that made it anti-climactic for me.

I sorta liked Boob Lady...I kinda liked...let me think....little bits and pieces...i guess...
I am permenantly scarred by Bart's nude scene and might need to go into therapy to have the image scraped from my retinas (just kidding)...sorta.....

For anyone that cares, the length of the movie was 87 minutes.

The Simpsons people must really enjoy giving Albert Brooks guest roles.

Didn't they also make Arnold Schwarzneggar the president?

But it wasn't his voice.

Great line, tough.

I liked the movie because it was more reminiscent of the old seasons of the show than the current episodes (I was scared it would be something like the last season). There are some episodes better and funnier than the movie, but I feel they did the best they could, especially with the short lenght.

That's because he improvises and is hi-fucking-larious when he does. I don't think they even bother writing lines for him any more, just vague outlines of what the scene is meant to accomplish.
