Jeffrey Dahmer the betta fish - I don't need to ask :P

According to photos my first pet was an orange cat. He's in the house in pictures when I'm about 2-3 years old. My mother and older brother don't remember him at all, but he's there. The first pet I remember was the next cat named Tiger, when I was five. Tiger got lost when we moved houses and he somehow found our new house six months later, even though he'd never been there before. It was like The Incredible Journey, with a distance of about ten miles over rough terrain. I remember hearing him scratch at the door when he got to the new house. I was soooo excited to see him! Sadly, Tiger died from exhaustion shortly after returning home. :(

What was your first pet?

first and last, as a 7 year old boy, a little yellow ducky i naively and wrongly removed from a nest aside the local lake. took it home and fed it bread and it swelled to several times its normal size, and soon too heavy to walk, so i put it in the sink filled with water, where it could at least paddle about. and in the morning i got up and saw that it floated dead. i should not have pets.

Technically my first pet was one of the dogs we had when I was a toddler and before we got the Pomeranian that passed away last year, but those dogs ran away very quickly. I remember one of them was why I wanted a dog again, because it was very affectionate, so I begged for a dog until we got Rosie who was my first long term pet. I don't remember what dogs they were, but I miss them.

I'm also really sorry to hear that happened, auntblabby. At least you weren't trying to hurt it and were trying to take care of it.

Edit: I forgot to add a question. Oops.

Do you like going to museums?

I always get art questions.

No I don't. I just don't get it. However if it was hands on art then I might, there was a room/house made of thread you could walk in that was cool, so I guess what the display was.

What's your favourite cuisine?

Chinese takeout but I am trying to eat less of it in order to save money.

If you like eating cookies, what are your favorite cookie flavors?

Peanut butter or cookies that have "rainbow" colors in them.

If you like being in the outdoors, where do you prefer visiting whenever you can do so?

The local plant nursery not far from where I live, as it's peaceful and calm.

I set too many goals for myself and try to perfect everything that I do, so I guess I am an overachiever.

Same question.

Nope....definitely an underachiever. I even went to a school for "gifted underachievers."

I've been on my job 40+ years, and never got promoted.

I feel like I should have done better----but I'm okay, and I'm lucky in some ways. My choices could have lead to worse consequences for me.

Same question.
