^ Yeah, it's a trend I've noticed. From what I've heard, a lot of people in the US (who are right-handed) tend to hold their forks in their right hand, whereas in the UK (and here Down Under) most right-handed people I've seen tend to hold their forks in their left hand. I was wondering how prevalent it was.

And yeah, I can eat with chopsticks easily enough. I remember using coloured pencils to learn how to hold them when I was a kid.

Same question

Fork in left hand.

I eat standing up a lot, but I usually eat on a beanbag chair or curled up on the sofa.

I have a kitchen table but no chairs since I hate chairs.

Re: Cooking, I’ve never owned a microwave so I actually cook.

Chopsticks: I used to be really good with them but lost I dexterity after my stroke. Now I can manage but it’s awkward.

Do you use mouthwash?

Not very often, it is usually too cold and shocks my teeth.

Nope.

If the flavor of vanilla were to disappear permanently one day, how would you cope?

Vanilla is a rather subtle flavor and I don't think it would make much of a difference if it disappeared. I'd panic if the lemon flavor or something disappeared.

Same question.

I like the taste of vanilla in cakes. I wouldn't be that affected if the flavour disappeared, however, I would be devastated if the scent disappeared.

The scent of vanilla relaxes me. I love vanilla scented candles and perfume....they are comforting.

Same question.

I love vanilla, and the scent of vanilla.

I’d cope just fine but it would be really sad.

I hate chocolate. I also hate when people think chocolate / vanilla are opposites or always have to be compared.

Do you like a star, an angel, or other / nothing, on top of a Christmas tree?

Usually a simple bow made of ribbon, and a little bell for Clarence to get his wings.

I like very old fashioned trees where the tree stands out more than the baubles.

Were you ever in a Christmas pageant for school?

No. I avoid those things.

Do you/your family have any special dinner/lunch/meal for Christmas (whether on 25th Dec or not)? If so, who will you be doing that with this year?

Traditionally we have a turkey or goose on the 25th. It used to be my parents, my aunt and uncle and cousins (about 16 people), and we would alternate years between our house and my aunt’s.

The last few years it’s just me, my brother, my mum, and my kids (5 people max). Our partners aren’t normally invited but this year my beau will join us. We haven’t had the big turkey etc for a while because my mother has been ill, so we’re doing it this year as it may be her last Christmas.
