Do you consider yourself funny?

Too funny - in a brash, obnoxious, often (unwittingly) hurtful way. I wish I were quieter and more reticent.

Do you like soft-boiled eggs?

Do you like boeuf bourguignon?

Yes I love boeuf bouguignon.

I don't know.

What is your favourite band?

My favourite bands are Genesis, Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Electric Light Orchestra, Ween, and many more.

I don't know if I have a favorite band.

Would you become Amish if possible?

If I weren't Roman Catholic and were American, I'd be making preparations to do so right now. I love their lifestyle. They're the only Protestants I truly admire.

Same question.

No, I like my own Lutheran faith and the friends I have made at church.

Semi-related to Amish, what would you do with a year of Rumspringa? (Running around time-the year or so Amish teens have to investigate the world at large)

I'm not sure. I've probably already done some of what I'd do.

How would you stop an argument?

In therapy they tell people to take each other's side. For example, you would pretend to be the other person and say all the things that made them upset using their point of view. Then they would pretend to be you, and say the things that make you upset. That way you can ensure that you both understand the other person's point of view. In any event, it's best if you take turns talking, write notes of what each other says (to ensure you both understand, and you can refer back), and that you try to keep emotion out of the discussion as much as possible.

Also remember any difference of opinion can only have four solutions:
1. Your way
2. Their way
3. A middleground (you both concede a little bit to find a happy medium by negotiating)
4. A totally new solution that neither of you thought of before

When I consider arguments in those four ways, I realise they aren't so difficult to settle.

These sound like great ideas, Isabella. Thanks for posting this.

Semi-related to thinking up new solutions: Have you ever solved a problem using a solution you haven't thought of before?

It would depend on the context of the situation in which the problem is created from.

Same question.

I'm not sure if I've ever solved a problem (apart from academics).

When you do The Fandango with thunderbolts and lightening, is it very, very frightening?

Are you better with names or faces?

Anything but faces.

I'd remember a person's shoelace better than their face, I think. I don't make eye contact so I don't see faces.

Faces, because their like fingerprints; no two are EXACTLY alike, and have their own unique pattern.

Same question.
