What household chore do you enjoy doing the most?

Probably doing my duvet. Feels really satisfying to arrange the cover exactly how I see fit.

Least =
cat trays
carrying laundry up and down stairs without killing myself
touching water with my hands
wearing rubber gloves ^ (yes this causes a conflict)
cleaning mirrors - I'm awful at it

Best =
kitchen cleaning
disinfecting with wipes and sprays
rearranging things to be orderly
sweeping
dusting

What is the next big chore / thing you need to do in your life?

Putting together a swing for the front area of my apartment.

Do you like putting things together?

I love putting things together.

Have you ever taken something apart and then tried to put it back together?

I like putting things together if they can't kill me (e.g., a barbecue). I've never used a drill so it takes me a long time to assemble things by hand, but I don't usually mind. I really need to try a drill.

I'm not the type to take apart and rebuild.

Do you like salt lamps?

Never heard of a salt lamp......do you mean Lava Lamps?

Reminds me of the Hourglass which was always shown in the old days before the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" started.

Do you find soap operas to be habit-forming?

Salt lamps are different from lava lamps. ^

I've never seen a soap opera so idk. No television is habit-forming for me though.

Yep....they sure are different from lava lamps LOL

Back about 1979-1980, I got into a soap opera a little too much with my girlfriend. I told myself I've got to stop watching it---so I stopped.

Have you ever actually dialed a rotary phone to make a phone call? (I used to pretend to make phone calls all then when I was bored as a child/adolescent....I would almost break the rotary thingee....)

Of course I've dialled a rotary phone. My parents still had one by the swimming pool until I was about 40. My mother still has an answering machine with a cassette tape.

I used to dial the rotary phone with a pencil. My dad and I both hung up the phone up backward with the twisty cord over the phone. It drove my mother mad.

I still have a landline, and I always will.

Do you remember phone numbers easily?

Yep. I'm very good at remembering phone numbers, for some reason.

My phone number in the 1960s was Twickenham 6-0321, then it became 896-1544 in the early 70s, when they got rid of the letters. All of NYC was in area code 212 back then, and we didn't dial it.

Did your older brother wear a bolo tie?

I'm guessing that question is for someone else as I don't have a brother.

If I gave you 100 boxes what would you do with them?

I have an older brother but I don't know what a bolo tie is. He liked expensive suits, either Italian or the type you'd wear in Miami.

I'd break the boxes and recycle them, after cursing you. :P

It depends on what size they are.

Probably donate most of them to the supermarket or something. I don't need 100 boxes.

Do you have to put some of your stuff in storage?

Cowboys and Native Americans used to wear bolo ties. They are sort of like large shoelaces.

I just got rid of about 100 boxes because of my house flood last year. I never want to see another box, but I hate clutter regardless. No he never wore a bolo tie.

No I've never put things in storage, although I did give passports and personal documents to a trusted person to hide for me for a long time when I was in danger. Somehow I lost my degrees when I did that, but I got everything else back.

I'm a minimalist so I'd never need a storage space.

I hope I NEVER have to put anything in storage LOL

I'm a minimalist myself. I have very few things of my own. My wife has a good amount of stuff, though. Though not more than most people.

Do you ever wish you could just get NEET, and have it be painless, so you don't have to shave again? LOL
