Have you ever wanted a frog or turtle as a pet?

I desperately wanted a turtle, but my mother wouldn't let me. She said they carry Salmonella. To which I said I would get two, and name them Sam and Ella. It didn't happen though. Turtle was my first word as a child.

Did you ever want a parrot as a pet?

i dunno if it was a "pet" but i did briefly have a little toilet plunger i slept with as a kid until the folks took it away from me and stuck it in a pile of goo.
