I used to have a sleazy postman.

I spend around £50-60 a week. Most of it is fruit and veg, which is ridiculously pricey.

Same question.

I spend US$60-$70 per week on groceries for myself, and I eat everything I want, including meat, fruits and veggies. I guess food is inexpensive here. But I buy zero prepared foods (except salsa) and almost nothing on boxed/bagged/drinkable snacks. I eat mostly meat, eggs, broccoli, leeks, spinach, salsa, greek yogurt, frozen strawberries and blueberries, peanut butter, various grains and powdered protein, coffee, cream, cottage cheese, apples. Lately I've been making a soup with ramen, broccoli, shrimp, and that's going to be less expensive than my usual dinner, and I haven't bought greek yogurt in a while. Probably half my budget has been greek yogurt and the things I flavor it with.

Way too much money. It would be helpful if I were sensible with my food choices.

Same question.

Around £100-120 per week for 2 people + 2 dogs. Far too much really, still buying unnecessary luxuries.

Same Q.

I spend about £10 per day on food and drink (about £4 of that is drink), so around £70 per week.

Do snails visit your garden or pathways?

Nah, I haven't seen any around here.

Can you cook?

Only very basic stuff - scrambled eggs, stuff under the grill, ready meals, etc. Many sophisticated people would probably say it doesn't reach the threshold for real cooking.

Can you cook?

 Ready meals is not cooking!

Yeah, I can cook. It would be a hobby if I had the time and energy for it.

Same question.

Yes, I cook everything from roast dinners to lasagne, stir fries, a little baking too. I love cooking.

I can, and I've done some fairly complex and successful dishes in the past, but at the moment I don't cook anything that can't be cooked in the microwave. My stove is so infrequently used that is has stuff stored on and in it.

Do you eat at a table dedicated to eating, like a dining or kitchen table, or do you eat at your desk, or on your lap, or somewhere else?

I eat only at my computer (laptop) desk. My dining table hasn't been used for years and has so much stuff piling up on it that I can't use it for dining.

Same question.

Dining table for larger meals, and the kitchen bench or my desk for smaller ones.

When eating with a knife and fork, do you usually hold the fork in your right hand or your left hand?

I'm right-handed, therefore with my right hand.

Same question.

^I thought right-handed people hold the knife in their right hand and the fork left... or USA people do it differently?

I'm right handed and hold the fork in my left.

Can you use chopsticks properly?
