I don't have a chair because I am not disabled, but has anyone heard of this chair called the iBOT which is made by the company that has the Segway?

Yes i have heard of the iBOT.

About iBOT

The problem is it's flawed in many areas...

Battery range is ehhh not so good...

Joystick and control adaptability, non existant, i need adaptive controls

Seating and positioning=CRAP... i need custom moulded seating system, this uses a standard van type seat. bad bad bad! no chest harnessing, need that too! no tilt system really need that, no good headrest, need that to!! !

final verdict, 30,000 for this thing... FORGET IT...

25,000 for a specialized powerchair with lots of custom made upgrades, MINE!! !

end of verdict!

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Wow, you're so smart when it comes to powerchairs! You could totally run your own company!

Invacare blows earnings out of the water

in simple words, more and more people are needing powerchairs, increasing rate of Cerebral Palsy (hmm could it be linked to autism in some way) increasing rate of car accidents resulting in paralysis... yay money!

strapples come in many shapes and sizes.... like mine is very different from chris's his has more to the upper chest and belly and more coverage... something i'd like hahaha... i want one :D

they make straps in very big sizes, sizes so big i could use it as a blanket probably hahaha... so i think they have ones for oversized sids and even bigger :D

id probably want my strapple to be a size larger than me in measurement of length and width hahaa.... pressure on more areas of my body hahaha, and theres a medical benefit, even MORE support.
