What? Please explain. If people say they don't want to hear about cures, I'll stop posting stuff about it or at least post it less.

Why does that make him a troll?

This isn't provocotive, inflammatory, designed to provoke anger/arguments...

For the record, yes I'm interested. I don't want to be cured myself, but I know others who would like to be. Not everyone is totally against a cure.

why is he trolling?
because he posted this before and people told him to stop--you were there, and he does it again, knowing he is provoking us. that is trolling

And in a semi-serious response... refer back to my post on the other thread that WASN'T trying to be funny. Science is fairly straightforward. There is no basis for "curing" a genetic condition OTHER than extensive gene therapy. It does not exist. It MAY not exist for decades... if ever. Religious fanatics have done their best to stop it, in several countries. In the US they've virtually succeeded. Autism is in your gene's folks. Just like your skin color... or your hair color... or your sex. Unless you can change any of THOSE, don't expect to change Autism.

He's not provoking anyone. Some people might be interested in this, and now he's asking to see if people do or don't mind it. To me that shows politeness and respect, not trolling. There's nothing in the rulebook about 'we don't like to know about things that could potentially help those who are interested' or 'if the majority aren't interested you can't post it'.

I think what he means, guys, is WAYS TO COPE, not flat-out cure. Remember, you can't cure depression, but you can deal with it, take anti-depressants, and get help for it. It isn't cured, it just goes away, in a strange way.

I have fatigue, a poor short-term memory, forgetfulness, and other symptoms that make it difficult for me to socialize and communicate verbally like neurotypical people. These symptoms are why I fit the criteria for autism. What I want to cure are the negative symptoms I have. Infections are known to cause these symptoms. It's possible that infections are involved in some cases of autism especially since many defects in the immune system (which fights infections) are more common in autism.

Depression is Genetic, and can be cured with antibiotics and voodo charms to keep the space rats away. Space rats carry DNA worms that cause Autism. The rats eat mushrooms and the worms spread it. Worms feed on DNA, which causes depression, spreads the mushrooms, which leads to autism.

Now is it clear?

I saw this Austrailian movie, Blood of Heros, it explains everything. They play this game with a dog's skull, they eat rats, it was great.

You should tell everyone, not just post the same thing over and over all over, but put it where it will mean something, the Quack Cure Thread. It can be found at the NIH website.

If you are not an M.D., your medical advice is a danger to anyone who believes you.

I think you are a shill for a quack, and are trying to get people who will try something that will only sepperate them from their money, health, and possibly life.

As such, you are a direct danger to life and property. You are giving medical adice to minors without their parents consent, and that is a crime in many places.

I am forwarding your rants to the proper authorities.

Go away Curbie bigot. There is no "cure" for Autism any more then there is any "cure" for being female, black, or gay.
