Listen, for Tim_Tex this is practically.....reflexive. Allow him this one.

At the laboratory fairly recently, I said, "It's burning on fire!" I think that qualifies. I tried to qualify my statement, writing, "It could have been technically smoldering - there's a difference, yes?"

Hate this one: Let it unthaw....what?

Well, were you a good werbert? Christmas is over, btw. So......did you get that hippopotamus? Inquiring minds are dying to know.

EDIT: Has anyone noticed!? Nearing post # 666. Let the door between the worlds open......I expect at least some recognition for this milestone (hint)

I once wrote a story titled the heavily sedated, nomadic, uppwardly-mobile chipmunks travelling in outer space. The story was about chip the chipmunk who was a monk, and his friend....I don't remember much else about it off the top of my head except for the chip the chipmunk who was a monk.

Thanks for the sentiment! I can be quite reflexive when it comes to things like this.

How's this for redundancy... I took all four of these pictures one right after the other, about a second apart each.

That's what your computer has to look at for hours at a time.

An exampleat I deal with everyday from engineers. I am a Physicist.

The RAM Missile is capable of acquiring radiating and non-radiating targets.

NOTE: RAM stands for Rolling Airframe Missile.

I would always edit to:

The RAM is capable of acquiring radiating and non-radiating targets.

But some people think I am wrong and anal. Only one si true.

This seriously irks me!! !! In fact, I am counting this as a complaint.

I'm having trouble understanding this thread because the things written here make no sense to me which puts me at a loss as to what exactly people are really saying here and THAT leads to my being confused as to the meaning behind all this!

It drives me nuts when people say SIN number too, and LAN network. I THINK I heard the last one; the first one I definitely heard numerous times.
