I'm in Kuala Lumpur airport right now.

I am feeling quite sleepy. Our plane left at midnight last night (Australian time) and it was an 8 hour flight.

I didn't get a lot of sleep so my eyes aren't working properly.

I'm going to have some breakfast and a shower then I'll come back and chat.

Leaving my 3 sons yesterday was hard - they all cried and cried.

I've got 5 hours to kill before I'm off to London.

Sounds like you're having a nasty time. Airports are horrible places anyway. What did you have for breakfast?

Toast, fruit and a cup of coffee. The fruit was nice and fresh.

I've done the easy part so far. The next flight is 13 hours - phew!

I've been diligantly wiggly my feet and ankles so I don't end up with a deep venous thrombosis (blood clot).

I was rather envious as I walked past 1st class on the way off the plane. Big, comfortable chairs with leg rests. But then they probably paid 4 times the price.

Is there any way for me to contact them on MSN? I'm sure I'd be able to help.

Leaving the kids might be hard but think of the welcome home you'll get ... :)

oh, wow! how exciting. I was on a plane for several hours on friday, I can't imagine what it would be like on one for 13.

I had two 12 hour flights in one sitting. You'll praise portable entertainment and extended battery life, and curse airline food.

Flying is very dull. You're basically sat in an uncomfortably restricting chair for hours with little to do but read and try to relax. Not nice.

I was on a 20-hour flight from Montreal to Frankfurt-- I had been in school all day, we left at like 6 or 8 at night in Montreal... we arrived 20 hours later in Frankfurt... and then a 2 hour flight from there to Amsterdam... I never slept, and of course it was the morning when we had arrived in Amsterdam and we spent the whole day doing stuff, and then I was locked out of my room and looking all over for my roommate who had the keycard and finally after 12 I asked at the desk for another one and went to bed. The room was drafty and I woke up early the next morning with a sore, sore throat that was so swollen shut that I was suffocating and I was also very congested... not fun at all. So then we had another long day... I almost fell down a flight of steep, dangerous stairs in the old St. Peter's cathedral in Koln... and went to bed late the next night, after taking a nice hot shower, as I felt cold and I was so sick I was shaking uncontrollably all over snd my hair was standing up... I had a much better sleep and felt good the next morning!

I can't wait to hear everything from your vacation! :D
