I'm confused about the "2": Did you do an earlier poll?

I've yet to see any of the ones you listed. The only one that holds memories for me is "The Fox and the Hound", partly because my neighbors had a dog that looked just like Chief.

None of the smarminess of modern Disney fare, it was far harsher than Bambi, bumping off Todd's mom before the opening credits even ended, showing her pelt in a shed later on, and ending on the note that Todd and Copper couldn't be friends anymore, but could at least decide not to kill each other. I mean, geez!

If it had been higher in profile, it might have scarred kids worse than "Transformers: the Movie". However, it was so far under the radar of the average Disney fan that it avoided getting any horrid Direct-to-video sequels...until 2 years ago.

At least they haven't tacked one onto "Aristocats" yet. Or have they?

My #2 would be Sleeping Beauty, but mostly because it had a unique animation style that I just loved. Aurora and Malificent were both so hot, I'm not sure which I would have chose, were I in the prince's shoes. And kids got to hear "Hell" spoken in a Disney cartoon.

My vote goes to Lilo and Stitch. But only for the original movie and 'Stitch has a Glitch'. The "cousins" ruined the series completely IMO.

And I thought the old Transformers movie was the first animated movie to swear.

No..no way...NONE of those?

My favorite is the Little Mermaid and has been since I was 5 or so. I also had an obsession with anything Belle (Beauty and the Beast) at the age of 6 simply because she liked to read and so did I.

But the Emperor's New Groove has got to be the funniest Disney movie ever made thanks to David Spade. So many quotable lines from there.

The Fox and the Hound was too sad to watch. I agree with Dunwich. All I have to say to Disney for that one is "Wtf?"

A Bug's Life, Hercules, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, and The Rescuers Down Under (and most of those I saw a long time ago).

Well, Spike's s-bomb, is a TAD more extreme than "hell".
And everyone seems to forget that Ultra Magnus says "dammit" about 20 minutes later, and that didn't even get removed from any of the VHS releases.

For that matter, there've been amimated adult features since at least the early '70s. I think "Fritz the Cat" uses all 7 dirty words.

And for the record, my astonishment at "The Fox and the Hound" wasn't a complaint: it'll always genuinely be my favorite Disney movie.
