I would rather listen to music than watch music videos. Most of the ones I have seen have been just plain stupid.

i agree dude, sometimes i think bands pay more attention to "the video" than the song. i dont even think the song is what sells records anymore, its the videos! :(

Am like some videos, like the one to Fatboy Slims' 'The Joker'-
http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=Xgk9ouBuj-4 has to be one of his worst tracks ever, but the video is great, have a look especially if like cats.

Another good video was Leftfields' 'Afrika Shox'- http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=gAaog6PHZrY

Am don't like both music and video together though, either one or the other.

This reminds me one of the first video/songs that MTV played was Video kill the radio star. Did they get it right or what ? Some singers have lovley voices but are not that nice looking they got push aside by Mtv. Films started as moving images only than got sound. And now sound gets moving images. It cost more to do a music video than record sound only so even less good sounds get made blah

I don't like music videos too much either, i usually just listen to cd's, my itouch, or myspace streaming music. Thats besides the point.
Some music videos i do really enjoy and have some decent artistic value to them are Rose of Sharyn by killswitch engage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFQAWdRRChk . I enjoy the way they capture the sunlight at the end of the video, even though its a song about lost love, the bright sunlight gives the listener and watcher a feeling of hope.
My Curse by Killswitch Engage captures the sunlight really well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1ADlw8IuQ4
