I kind of think that Tim Tex was joking. Richardson is one smart man. He is very well-versed in foreign policy and very knowledgeable about the rest of the world. I think those traits would have been very good in a subsequent president, considering the USA's reputation around the world. Unlike our current fool of a president, he actually believes in engaging in dialogue with those nations who don't particularly like us, which I think is very noble. Bush's whole deal of "not negotiating with terrorists" is ignorant, misplaced, and will only lead to more international misunderstanding and hatred.
