I don't think that "introverted" and "into one's own thoughts" are exactly the same thing. The latter seems to imply that one is more lost inside or locked inside one's own head. Whereas "introvert" simply implies that one prefers less socialization to more.

The world informational systems do not have what I am looking for, but my own thoughts are always working on my obsessive questions. I would be very lonely without me.

I still deal with the world, it is the big pinball machine, but I discover the rules for myself.

I'm naturally introverted...all though, i'm not sure about everyone else on the spectrum.

I can be introverted and prefer my own company more than the average NT but I can be pretty extrovert as well with people I am comfortable with and also dependent on my mood.
