Sometimes I was so intolerant with my sister, I thought she was annoying and silly. It took me some years to understand she was a real friend.

In grade 4 we had a point system where for good work or behavior we got points and points were deducted for work not done or misbehavior. We had to have a certain number of points in order to be included in the class Halloween or Christmas parties or other parties. I was one of the 6 or so students in my class who were excluded from the Christmas party, but then she said she didn't have the heart to exclude anyone from a Christmas party so we were included in the Christmas party.

I memorized every bus number and route. I don't know why.

I also loved taking the bus.

As a child I used to play with only 3 children - my cousin 3 years older than me and our neighbors' children - the boy was my peer while his sister was 3 years younger.

In grade 1 our lunchroom was on the stage, with the curtain separating it from the gym shut. There were tables and chairs on the stage. That was also where the school's breakfast club was, and later on the detention room.

I was the last kid in my neighborhood who learned how to ride a bike. Then my bike was stolen about a year or so after learning how to use it.

I took stray or hurt and sick animals at home.
It was very difficult stay in kindergarten because I cried.
I took encyclopedia about animals from the library and drew all animals from it.
