How do I use XBOX Live with a 360?

Also, can the wired controller be used on a PC?

You can use a wired controller with a PC. You may need to download a driver from Microsoft for the Xbox version, but I think you can buy one for the PC with the drivers included.

As for Xbox Live, you need a broadband connection, router and either an ethernet network cable or wireless adapter (depending on the router). You can also connect through your PC (I did, so I could stream music and stuff). Then you just need to select Connect to Xbox Live on your Xbox, which should guide you through the rest of the process.

Not that you will need to pay an annual fee, $50 I think, if you want to play multiplayer or co-op games online. Everything else is available though (Xbox Arcade, Friends List, Messaging).

Goody. I can't wait to set up my new PC and give my wired controller a test. I think it will definitely make Freespace easier than using the mouse (ugh)
