I miss record players. I heard Sony is starting to press vinyl records again, and they have a slick new $300 turntable. I could get an old, reconditioned one, I suppose.

I feel sad when I think back on my childhood and think of my dreams for the future. It turns out I did do some of what I hoped, but not at an exceptionally high level. I thought that I would eventually catch up and have a normal life. It never really happened that way. I did get a good education, but that was the only area I really excelled. Until I was 48, I never achieved anything I could consider a normal adult milestone.

I miss my old house where I grew up, and how much fun I had there.

I do not miss having to share a bed room with my younger brother.
