Hi! I'm a 15 year old girl from the US :) You can call me Sky. I like writing, reading, drawing, and baking. I'm unsure of my diagnosis (never been tested for anything as far as I know, and my fam doesn't like to talk about it). I am also a huge nerd :P feel free to message any time!

Hi, I'm HylianWhovianWizard. On other forums, I'm typically know as Theodora or Phoenix.
I am almost 17. I am a girl. I have been diagnosed with Asperger's. I talk a lot and respond to messages super fast.
I live in the United States.
I have interests in Doctor Who, Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Harry Potter. I write (mostly fanfiction), draw, cook and bake. I love to listen to alternative music or pop music that is slightly dated and has slipped down the charts.

Salutations,

I'm 18, male and I live in England. I currently go to college studying Creative Media in general and I've a particular interest in video editing and animation, which I've recently completed an FMP in.

Outside of that, I edit videos as a hobby, play games (I've a lot of older systems like an NES, a Master System, a SNES, a Mega Drive and an N64), and spend time talking to my online friends and significant other.

Not much else to say but you all seem lovely so far.

Hey! I'm gg, I'm 16, and live in the uk. I'm a sterotypical aspie girl!!
I'm afraid I'm one of those crazy horse-obsessed people... but I'm also into art and anything creative (I'm going to Art College this September) including sewing, crochet, painting, drawing and all that stuff. Politics, fashion, cooking, writing, and listening to radio 4 all day are things I like too.
Really I'd just like to chat to like-minded people!

Hi I'm 17 and live in Paris.. I finished my freshman in university ("en prépa" for those who know how it works in France), and recently found out about AS.. I'm still waiting to be diagnosed but I am pretty sure I'm on the spectrum... I just joined the forum so anyone there to talk? :)

Hi everybody!! I'm 17 and live in Spain. I'm not diagnosed yet, but I'm pretty sure that I'm on the spectrum (I have most of the symtomps and score high in all the tests I've done)
The last 2 years I've improved a lot my social life (I usually hang out and even get invited to parties!! !) but I always feel out of place and people tell me that I talk about the same for hours and always instist in the shame themes, and that I'm too intelectual and don't know how to talk about uncomplicated normal stuff. Anyway, it's better than be alone, and I think that they like me (they wouldn't invite me to parties if they didn't), I'm like the weird friend, but I'd like to talk to other autistic teens, I want to be understood.
It's very difficult for me to post here, talking to strangers gives me a lot of anxiety (even when I enter in a shop to buy something) and I'm always afraid that I won't get an answer. Also, my english isn't very good, so I'm afraid that you won't understand me too.
Is anyone else in my situation?

Hi... I'm Shane. I'm horrible at talking to people and I'm 18. I'm from South Africa and I really really really need friends. I hate upsetting people but I somehow manage it flawlessly every time I go outside. Used to make friends through Steam but I just don't get along. Maybe talking to someone like me will help.

Making friends locally has become impossible, but I really don't want to be so isolated all the time.
Besides, loneliness never really bothered me until now... So here I am.

I don't often get along with other guys (people have the tendency to assume I'm gay and either treat me as if I'm actually gay, ignore me, or hit on me. Nothing has made socialising more awkward and difficult  ). Still, it's nice to have someone to talk to, even if I feel a little uncomfortable talking to strangers.

And no, I've got nothing against the gay community. I'm just someone who is often mislabeled. And that kinda works on your self esteem after a while. I mean, I know I'm really feminine compared to other guys, but please don't label me because of that? I get called ma'am enough when it's not something else, thanks :|

Greetings, I'm Nicole. I am 16 years-old and from Ontario, Canada. I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder - level 1 in April 2016. I have several issues related to ASD. I really like learning about mental disorders, but I also like writing, reading, and watching TV. I don't have a lot of friends, and find it hard to communicate properly, but I try my best.

Hello :D I'm Jordan, an 18yo male with asperger's from London

I find a lot of social situations very daunting but talking to people online is not so bad, especially likeminded people such as yourselves, which is why forums like this are very useful to me

If anybody would like to talk for whatever reason, whether it be about an experience or just a chat, feel free

Hi everyone, I'm Niky. Of course that's just my nickname, but a lot of people call me that and I like being called that :) (much more than my real name). Basically I am searching for people to chat with and I hope to find some here, especially people who are of similar age (I am 18, in a few months 19). I was diagnosed with Asperger's at a rather young age, guess I just wanted to mention that. Well anyway, I should say something about myself. I am still going to school, 1 year left. (I hate school, but who doesn't ^_^). After school I want to go to university, possibly Physics or Math. Well I like Math and I think I could say I am pretty good at it, although I don't particularly like the way it's teached at school or Math in school generally. Math sounds so super serious but to me it's just creativity. I can be serious too if the situation requires it or if I am in the 'right' mood for it, but I guess the real me is a pretty childish person. Very childish actually :P (bear with me ^_^). My hobbies, well... I watch quite a bit of anime! I developed a very particular taste though and I quit many anime because they bored me. So if anyone is into anime, I'm glad to talk to you about it. I also listen to JPop, JRock, Vocaloids and English covers of Japanese songs. Most of the time I am sitting at my computer (which is a lot) I am listening to music, I actually have the second opening of Death Note playing in the back ground right now. It just calms me down, I really love music. A few weeks ago I started playing the board game GO (not Pokemon GO ^^) and I really enjoy it. I'm playing at least one game every day now. There's quite a bit more I could write here, but I'll leave it at that (laziness and I wanna leave some things open). If you want to chat with me, hell go for it! I don't know if there's actually a chat function here, but I do have Skype and Steam, open for something else I haven't tried too (but if possible not Teamspeak, I don't really like it). Oh yeah, one last note: I am not a girl. Lots of people think that because of my nickname, especially since there's a -y at the end. I come off as female when chatting sometimes, maybe because of the way I write. Sometimes I actually think it's funny, but I just wanted to make this clear. And I'm from Germany.

Looking forward to speaking with you!

Hello
I think I'll add something too since I'm new here. I'm not really sure if I'm autistic but think that I'm somewhere on the spectrum because I share some symptoms-at least I think I do. Like sensitivity to loud noises, difficulty recognizing facial expression, monotone talk etc.
I'm male btw, 16 year old.I'm from germany. I'm good at language and drawing. I've been quite often in the Hospital and am very short.
:| I have many interests of which I don't take care often because I spent too much time on the internet ( I'm working on that).
I'm searching for some friends here too ( if I may :V).Or simply people to chat with. :)
And I want to apologize if it turns out that I'm neurotypical ( which i doubt but still), I will leave the forum if that's the case :( I need to get checked.
That's it I guess.... :)
I just hope I've put this post in the right place

My name is Owen- I'm 15, diagnosed with AS at age 7. I play upright/electric bass semi-professionally, so I'm quite a fan of that. I also enjoy music, art media, and philosophy. However, I struggle a lot to live with myself as a person, as I've never fit in and have been alone for a while. So I'm looking to meet new people who I can hopefully relate to a lot more. Thanks!

Greetings!

I am...almost? 15, like in two weeks or something.
I'm from Austria(If you don't know where this is, it's the small conservative spot of pity below Germany) and I feel like I am born in the wrong country.
Autism, gay, extreme social anxiety. Best conditions to live in a conservative culture.
I am slightly numberblind, but for that have great linguistic capabilities: I cannot comprehend many things we do in math, but within two weeks, I caught up with the spanish course some old classmates of mine do in higher school.
My english level is upper class compared to other austrians, as most of them can't even form basic sentences.
Also: I am always the favorite student of any science teacher I had, because in science I use a small thinking deficit I have to my advantage: I have to always think in some Unit, and in Physics for example, this unit is atoms.

Hi.
I`m not sure if this is a good place to ask this, but I was getting tired of going through all the forums:)
I know someone in my peer group (both eighteen) with Asperger`s. All the "stereotypes" fit him.
I was wondering, could any of you give me advice on becoming friends with him?
I`m an introvert, so I can relate to a lot of things (example: a loathe of small talk).
And I realize there`s that quote: "If you`ve met one autist you`ve met one autist." That`s why I said that all of all the "symptoms" or traits in Asperger`s fit him.
I`d really like to be friends with him, though. He`s the one person I actually care to be around. Everyone else bores me;)
Thanks for any tips you have!
