Are there theme parks in S.A. ? I don't think Victor Harbor qualifies.

There used to be one in NSW but it's gone so now we have to do the trip all the way to Queensland - which is a long long way away.

I've been to Dreamworld three times - (once as child, once as an teen and once as a father - last November)

I've been to Warner Bros Movie world a couple of times too.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Cedar Point yet. Cedar Point is amazingly awesome. Been on the Dragster 3 times and the other coasters (yes, even the Jr. Gemini when I was with some small kids from my church) many more times. IMO the Dragster, Millenium Force, and Maverick are the best coasters.

I went to a theme park a few times in my life. They're okay. The only thing is that most of the rides I don't go on because I don't like the wild rides and the water rides. The heights scare me, I don't like the feeling I get when a roller coaster flies down really fast and I'm scared of high things spinning around and going upside down.

Nope, unless you count Puzzle Park, but that sucks.

We get advertisements here all the time for Cedar Point (as well as Holiday World and Kings Island). But since Kings Island is still fairly new to me, I'm going to be going there for a while. Plus we have fairly easy access for driving there as well. 8)

Nemesis Infreno is the best ride I've been on.

If anyone ever goes to Britain, go to Thorpe Park. Best Theme Park I've been to. Of course, if you live in America you probably have plenty of great theme parks anyway, but Thorpe Park combines the best rides from all of those parks into one park.

Living in Florida gives one a vast selection of parks to choose from that stay open all year. Disney World/MGM/Epcot/Animal Kingdom, Universal Orlando/Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens Tampa, Wet & Wild, Adventure Island, Weekie Wachee, Cypress Gardens, Seaworld... Then there are other parks that offer non-ride oriented fun as well. The Holy Land Experience is religiously themed, Silver Springs has alligator shows and glass-bottomed boats, Kennedy Space Center is for space lovers, The Richard Petty Driving Experience is for racing afficianados, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament lets you watch jousting tournaments... Florida has lots of parks/themed attractions. Bring sunscreen.

I went on Colossus about three times when I went to Thorpe Park. The music that plays when you stand in the queue is quite catchy.

I vacationed in California USA once. Had to go to Disneyland, the 'original themepark'. I had a great time, even chatted with one of the cleaners who told me all sorts of stories.

My favourite three rides:

1. Nemesis Inferno
2. Colossus
3. Stealth

All at Thorpe Park.

I've been to Six Flags Great America (Illinois) a few times, Disney World, and Busch Gardens. I loooove roller coasters! I don't like spinning rides, but roller coasters are great. I love waterparks too!

I like theme parks and big rides - don't really feel compelled to scream like everyone else though! :?
