I just have a simple question. What is all this with "Hummingbird", "Butterfly" ,etc? I'm just curious :wink:

It's a "ranking". Changes as your post count goes up.

It's related to the amount of posts the person has posted,there's a different group name after so many posts,the last one is phoenix,or possibly one more after that...not sure.
From a thousand posts onward,are able to change that title to own text.

Also, as with mine, if you contribute money to support WP, it wipes it out and puts the WP Supporter button in its place.

I'd rather have the rank than the supporter button, especially so close to custom ranks.

Out of curiosity, is there a list anywhere that notes the post count at which one advances to the next rank and which ranks are associated with each band of post-counts? I know that my current rank (deinonychus) came after 300 posts, and I remember Emu Egg being for the first 10 posts, but I can't remember what all was in between.

What do you have to do to get a custom rank, just post 1,000 times? If so, I am going to love the off-the-wall section even more.

You get to choose your own title, once you reach 1000 posts.

Thanks Mikebw. I see I'm moving closer to the Velociraptor rating, and from there onward to Phoenix! Now I just have to decide what my custom title will be.
