I just thought it would be fun to find out where everyone came up with their usernames, avitars, signitures, "locations", etc.

USERNAME: It's my name spelled weird plus my birth year (1988).

AVITAR: Just changed it to image of favorite character from newest Final Fantasy Game. His name is Balthier and he a wonderfully sarcastic sky pirate you can't help but fall in love with.

SIG: Just a couple of favorites from a list of quotes I have compiled. Reflects my sense of humor.

That's me. How about You?

Avatar: It's Berserker from 8-Bit Theatre.

The reason that I chose CockneyRebel as a username, is because I'm obsessed with London, I speak with a Cockney accent, according to Canadian standards, and I can be quite rebellious, at times.

The reason that I use the avatar that I have, is because it depicts all of my obsessions, which includes: Routemasters, animals, children's movies, Sid, Punk Music and the 1970s.

Username: It means "hope" in Japanese. Hope is something I've always held onto, even in my darkest moments in life.

Avatar: I like cats, and I am curious. My avatar is a curious-looking cat.

Signature: I'm extremely eager to learn about things, and I ask questions. A lot of them. When I am interested in a topic, I learn everything I possibly can about it until I'm like a walking dictionary. For example, when I kept having allergic reactions to antibiotics, I started reading a physician's reference prescription book and memorized the drug classes, their primary side effects and cross-reactions. I know stuff off the top of my head that professionals have to look up. People find this either fascinating or irritating, but it's who I am.

I chose Knaidle (rhymes with ladle) because it is what my parents would sometimes call me when I was little. It means 'Matzoh ball' in Yiddish and they called me that because I was round and fluffy. I am no longer round but I am still fluffy (my hair).

I don't have an avatar because I don't have patience to look for one.

My signature is just me trying to figure myself out.

Name & avatar both come from the Street Fighter video game series - the character is Akuma, and his power comes from the "Dark Hadou".

EDIT - Apparently my sig doesn't display at all. Gah, I hate computers sometimes!

Username because I like Spokane a lot and it's my favorite city

Avatar because it's Benny & Joon and it's my favorite movie.

Sig because I am sick and tired of people saying someone isn't AS or not on the spectrum just because they aren't aspie enough or they're too autistic, etc so does it really matter what label someone has? Just as long as they are on the spectrum, does it matter what autism label they have, it's just a label.

Username: Many meanings. It comes from The A Team except there's only one of me. The A also stands for Asperger's and it also means A Class since I like to think of myself as being very good at video games.

Avatar: Locke from Final Fantasy VI

Sig: What Locke would prefer to be called.

Location: The First place you start out in FFVI and where you meet Locke

Rank: Locke's job title according to the menus

Username: Tequila is the nickname of the main character (played by Chow Yun-Fat) in the classic heroic bloodshed film Hard-Boiled by John Woo. The entire final half-hour of the film is a mass of shooting scenes. I chose it as I like the film.

Avatar: The Union Flag represents my Unionism, the red rose the love of my county and the crown my monarchist sentiments.

Signature: I don't have one.

Username: Always had a thing for the letter A, strange coincidence that Asperger is with an A. Anyway my first name and my diagnosis. I do enjoy the alliteration as well :D

Avatar: This is Lord Fluffy the Lovable, he has been my avatar for years. He was originally created for a comic strip I made while really bored. His personality is much like mine, and so I made a paint version of him. His design is based on the "A Modest Destiny" webcomic.

Signature: My motto up untill a few years ago when I learned I had aspergers. In my head it was everybody else who didn't make sense. (They still don't  )

My new motto is "Live to serve" by the way :)

My name is Riddick from the Vin Diesel Movie, then my favorite number.

My avvie is a combination of Death Note and lolcat-type language, both of which are mild obsessions for me.

User Name: My name is Tim and I am from Texas (but not necessarily enjoying it).

Avatar: That's me there.

Sig: On U.S. Highway 287, heading from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to Wichita Falls (where I attend college), the first town one reaches after leaving Ft. Worth is Decatur, which is the last significant source of enlightenment between the Metroplex and WF.

Decatur is appropriately located in Wise County, Texas.

I apologize if I offended anyone who lives in either Montague or Clay counties in Texas.
