Heck, if anyone is the doorman who welcomes everyone into WP - it's Tim.

I also like gbollard. I would put you two in my top WP guys, along with richardbenson.

Tim, what math do you take for geology? Must be fun to plot stuff. I saw a geology student working one time, the insights that man had were incredible. It was in an aspie documentary, and his name was David (like me!). He could tell what kind of rocks would be nearby, where water would be, the soil conditions, everything! I think he spoke to the rocks. 8O

Geology requires math through at least Calculus I. Most colleges require Calculus I and II, and some require Calculus III or even Differential Equations.

Tim seems like a very intelligent and high-functioning person. He is often the "voice of reason" on this board.

Very few geology programs require Calculus III or DE. My school only requires Calc I-II.

Sweet :) I have to take Calculus III, though thats not for about a year.

I like how Tim says Hi and Welcome to WP to everybody! Everybody gets welcomed by Tim_Tex...even me. :)
And he seems like the voice of reason. No silly crap or spam from Tim. **sighs with relief**

So Tim,

Are you gonna take the geology into mining or some other field?

I used to work in mining, now I'm in banking. I miss mining.

Most of the geology jobs are in the oil and gas industry.

Tim's a great guy. The only thing that bugs me about you is that you constantly type "Tim" at the end of every post instead of saving yourself the three keystrokes and just putting it in your signature. :p

But other than that you're nice and willing to please.
